The coachbuilder and bus manufacturer UNVI has been awarded the latest international public tender issued by the Ourense City Council. The public transport of the city will incorporate 10 UNVI 100% electric buses into its fleet.
This new purchase is part of the renewal strategy for the aging urban fleet that the city council announced months ago and is complemented by the European recovery funds granted by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda (MITMA) of Spain.
The vehicles, which will come into operation within 12 months, will complete the renovation of a more ecological, accessible and safer mobility service for the inhabitants of this city and will not use any type of fossil fuel for its operation, having more than 400 kWh as the only source of energy, contributing to a cleaner city, with less pollution and quieter.
The chosen model is the UNVI eC21, 12 meters long, with two doors and two axles, of which there are already several dozen circulating in Europe since 2018. They have capacity for more than 80 passengers, with 35 seats for seated passengers and 1 wheelchair accessible area. According to the requirements of the tender specifications, the vehicle will have a range of more than 16 hours of use and 250 km with air conditioning in operation. UNVI will also supply the external chargers with standard CCS2 plug with overnight charging system.

Real Madrid celebrates its 35th La Liga title in an UNVI Urbis DD Open-Top Bus parade in the streets of Madrid
According to official figures, about 60,000 Real Madrid supporters gathered around the Goddess Cibeles fountain to celebrate their 35th League title with the 2021/2022 team.
After the celebrations on the pitch, at the door of the stadium an UNVI Urbis DD Open Top bus awaited and took the players and staff in its traditional tour along the Castellana and Recoletos, greeting and toasting with its people the success achieved.
The journey took almost an hour. The bus went down the Castellana surrounded by fans, before returning to Cibeles where the team took the traditional lap of honor. The champions traveled slowly but safely, and the cup presided over the bus perfectly attached to a platform.
It is already common for champions of different sports, cities and countries to celebrate their victories in UNVI Open-Top Double-Decker buses, which fills us with pride.

This stunning new UNVI Touring GT is Woods Coaches latest addition to their fleet. The vehicle specification includes luxury leather seating, Corian tables supplied by AD Coach Systems, rear toilet, storage /servery area and fridge freezer.
Passengers also benefit from individual USB charging points and 240V power sockets.
The vehicle will be used on Woods Coaches extensive golf tour work.

ROBINSON TRANSPORT SHETLAND TAKES DELIVERY OF A NEW UNVI TOURING GT

NEW UNVI DELIVERY TO KINEIL COACHES
Another brand new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/ UNVI VEGA EX was delivered to Kineil Coaches in Fraserburgh, Scotland.
This VEGA EX features include: 19 luxury Brusa passenger seats, crew seat, enlarged double glaze saloon privacy glass, Webasto air conditioning and super luggage space.
The vehicle was supplied by UNVI UK agent, Coachtraders Ltd.
NEW UNVI DELIVERIES TO RATHO COACHES
These two Mercedes-Sprinter UNVI VEGA EX are the latest of a total of 4 new 22-reg vehicles supplied to Ratho Coaches in Scotland last month.
Both luxury vehicles include 16 leather passenger seats, enlarged privacy tint saloon windows, air con, fridge and super size boot.
They also got delivery of an additional UNVI VEGA EX in silver metallic paint with 16 passenger seats and fantastic luggage space and an IVECO based Compa VIP midicoach with 17 seats plus 2 tables.
These vehicles will be used on Ratho Coaches tour work and were supplied by UNVI UK agent, Coachtraders Ltd.
