The management is committed, in a visible and active way, and is responsible for the Quality and Environmental Management System

For this reason, the organization has established and maintains a Quality and Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Standards, whose general guidelines are the following:

 

1. Develop our Quality Management System with a critical vision that guarantees final quality of the product and the service given to customers, obtained with environmental respect and optimal working conditions for our employees. For this, all critical processes will be identified and periodically questioned: for preventive action and continuous improvement.
2. Integration and participation of all departments and collaborators, in general, in compliance with the terms set out in the system documentation.
3. Liability: Each employee, area or department should be responsible for his own work. This includes:

• Knowledge of the reason of what they do and self-monitoring of the work performed.
• Responsible use of tools and machinery in accordance with applicable safety instructions and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company.
• Waste separation in accordance with the applicable treatment plan at all companies.

4. Customer satisfaction search: criteria made based on our customers, striving to satisfy their needs.
5. Productivity improvement and reduction of non-quality costs, continuously improving the quality of our work, questioning the processes and acting on deviations’ causes, being closer to where problems are generated, thus promoting a preventive and non-corrective attitude.
6. Continuous training and progressive awareness of employees in their responsibility areas (work, safety, business setting and environment).
7. Development and technology. Product adaptation and technical means to the latest developments
8. Involvement and collaboration with stakeholders, suppliers and customers, in improvement projects.
9. Establishment in national market and opening of new markets, promoting exports.
10. Strengthen the effectiveness of human and technological resources to ensure the quality of our work.
11. Prevent and reduce the environmental impact that our activity could generate, in terms of atmospheric emissions, water and soil pollution, noise emissions, decarbonization, etc.
12. Optimization of exhaustible natural resources and renewable energies, as well as responsible management of chemicals and waste with emphasis on reuse, recovery and/or recycling.
13. Meet with current legislation that is applicable, as well as respect adopted voluntary agreements or requirements from our clients.
14. Meet the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.

The policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization, making it available to all the staff.

En una época de grandes avances, la sostenibilidad ambiental tiene un papel fundamental en el desempeño de la actividad de la empresa, tanto desde el punto de vista de responsabilidad de cara a la preservación del entorno y los recursos como de la generación de nuevas ideas y expectativas.

En este sentido UNVI en las organizaciones UNIDAD DE VEHÍCULOS INDUSTRIALES S.A. y UNVI CARROCEROS S.L. ha fortalecido su compromiso con el medio ambiente con la implantación del Sistema de Gestión medioambiental.

Teniendo en cuenta los requisitos de la norma UNE ISO 14001:2015 en la que ha analizado el impacto ambiental de la actividad y en base al Ciclo de Vida de los servicios prestados, se han determinado los aspectos ambientales significativos para los que se han establecido metas internas basadas en la eficiencia energética, el uso eficiente de los recursos naturales, la reducción de emisión de contaminantes a la atmósfera entre otros.

Desde este compromiso, UNVI quiere hacer partícipes a todas las partes interesadas para que conozcan la labor que se está llevando a cabo internamente.

Desde la organización se ha establecido un objetivo medioambiental con el fin de reducir el consumo de energía eléctrica a través de la incorporación de un sistema de producción de energía fotovoltaica y se está mejorando el proceso productivo incorporando productos menos peligrosos para el medio ambiente
