The design of the C26 makes an impact at Busworld 2025
The commitment and teamwork of everyone at UNVI, embodied in an iconic, innovative, attractive and comfortable design in the new C26 urban bodywork, has been recognised with an Honourable Mention for Design by the expert jury at Busworld 2025.

The jury highlighted UNVI’s proposal as an innovative approach capable of attracting those who currently use cars to public transport.

Presented as a concept body, the new C26 has been recognised at the most important international event in the bus and coach industry. The Honourable Mention highlights not only its modern and avant-garde image, but also the concept that UNVI wants to promote: an interior design that transforms urban travel into a pleasant and appealing experience, thus encouraging the use of public transport.

The materials used, the lighting, the shapes and the ergonomics of the interior elements create a welcoming and attractive atmosphere in the UNVI C26. In its assessment, the jury emphasised that it is the responsibility of the industry, operators and manufacturers to offer more attractive public transport alternatives that are capable of reducing the use of private vehicles.

The C26 has been designed to adapt to all types of chassis and urban and suburban operations, thus consolidating UNVI’s ability to respond to different market needs. We are already collaborating with chassis manufacturers to assess its incorporation into offers aimed at operators in different European markets.

Busworld, the leading international trade fair for the sector, has been held every two years since 1971. The 2025 edition brings together more than 550 exhibitors and showcases more than 250 buses and coaches. The event, which runs until Thursday 9 October, takes place at Expo Brussels, the Belgian capital’s exhibition centre.

Coinciding with this edition, UNVI is celebrating its first 30 years of history, consolidating its position as a reliable, solvent European coachbuilder with the capacity for growth in partnership with the leading chassis manufacturers.
