UNVI consolidates its leadership in the development of 100% electric tourist buses with the delivery of three new units to the Zaragoza City Council, which will be incorporated into the service operated by Avanza. With this renewal, the Aragonese capital city becomes the first Spanish city to offer a completely emission-free tourist service.
During the presentation ceremony, Mayor Natalia Chueca underlined Zaragoza’s commitment to a modern and sustainable mobility:
“We want tourist buses to project the image of a Zaragoza that is respectful of the environment and capable of combining its history with a vision of the future.”
With these new vehicles, which are fully adapted for people with reduced mobility and equipped with the latest technologies in safety, tourist management and environmental efficiency, both the city of Zaragoza and the operator Avanza are at the forefront in Europe in the operation of this type of vehicle.
The UNVI i23 model stands out for its flexibility and reliability. It is available with an electric or diesel chassis, in two or three-axle configurations, allowing it to adapt to different operational needs without compromising on comfort, accessibility or sustainability.
